Our client is looking for a Software Development Manager, they are a broadcast product company that is a leading supplier of products and services to the radio broadcast industry, they supply Virgin Radio, TalkSport as well as radio stations in the US, Africa and the Far East. This is to work in the Glasgow office
This will be a hands-on role involved in the full product development lifecycle and requires high level of technical proficiency, innovation and project management experience. You will have a minimum of 7 years experience working in a product development environment. You will have experience running multi-disciplinary project teams using Multi language / multi user applications You will be responsible for delivering new products to the market including approvals and initial user testing, managing the company’s product development pipeline; ensuring maximum productivity against agreed goals of all internal and external development resources and provide detailed estimates of product cost, development cost, timescale and technical risks
If you have worked with any of the following: audio applications (editors, recorders, players), audio interfaces (Hardware and Software), digital audio, sound processing (not necessarily DSPs) or broadcast playout systems, it would be a major advantage.

Our client is looking for experienced VT operators to work on the night shift, the VT operator will be responsible for the preparation of materials to broadcast specifications for a number of television and film clients. The company is a post production facility based in West London providing access services to some of the biggest names in the broadcast, cinema and DVD industries.
Main Duties include
Various VTR operation and duplication. Formats include Digibeta, D5 and D2 in both PAL and NTSC standards.
Technical assessment of material, full Q.C. and certification of material and the ability to communicate technical problems if rejection is necessary
Generation of paperwork to accompany tapes, together will labels and reports
Vision and/or audio correction to defects
This is an exciting opportunity to work for a friendly well established company. The night shift pattern is very attractive, the successful candidate will be working 6 nights out of 14.
