Will Santa Bring you a new Job for Xmas?
Many people look for a new role in the New Year. However, now is a very smart time to look for a new position as most employers will be suffering from the pre-Xmas staff shortage which seems to build up around this time of year. Basically there are still jobs going, but most candidates are too busy buying Little Johnny a new present or sobering up from the office party. So if you start looking now, there's a shortage of other candidates. This is great news, and means that you should have a much better choice of engagements and you will be in a better position to barter the rate/salary up. If you leave it until the New Year everyone and their dog will be chasing that choice role that should be yours! So, go on, treat yourself to a Santa special and select your next exciting role.

There we go again
Apologies to all our users for our second outage this week. Still, not too bad after nearly 18 months of continuous operation! What we can say is that in those 18 months we have seen significant traffic increase with the number of job applications going through the roof. This seems to be a really busy time for the industry. Suffice to say we will still be offering free recruitment to our candidates and great rates to advertisers and we WONT be running a telephone quiz to our readers ….

Cheap at Half the Price!
Well, we took the old adage and then some. Due to our increased traffic after IBC2006, we have just reduced our advertising rates by up to 75%. So now is a great time to get those jobs advertised. As always we’re still entirely free to candidates.
